A ducted fan coil unit sits above the ceiling and sends cooled air through ducts to outlets. Our ducted FCU service covers refrigerant-based units connected to outdoor equipment. For building-supplied chilled water, use the chilled-water FCU and AHU page.
If the connection is unknown, a grille or controller photo is a useful start, not a diagnosis. For sudden cooling loss, errors or leaks, describe the symptoms before choosing a wash. We explain the proposed checks and assessment charge before a paid visit. Any repair price and treatment of that charge are stated in the quote.
These rates are per unit for accessible refrigerant-based FCUs. We check model, capacity and access before booking. Other capacities, additional access work and repairs need a quote.

Refrigerant-based ducted fan coil units. Standard accessible in-place coil cleaning; duct-network cleaning, ceiling access work and repairs are separate. Other capacities need a quote.
Cleaning focuses on the unit's accessible coil and blower areas, filters, condensate tray and drain path. The agreed work includes cooling and drainage checks and pump checks where fitted. It does not cover the entire duct network. Dirt can restrict airflow and heat transfer; cleaning helps when that buildup is the cause.
Dismantling, replacement filters or pumps, insulation repair, wider duct cleaning and ceiling reinstatement are separate unless expressly included in the quote. An accessible drain clearance already included in cleaning is not charged again as a separate task.
The schedule below includes installation rates for the stated commercial indoor-unit capacities. The VRV row is outdoor-unit installation only, not a ducted-system package.

Equipment purchase is separate. Your ducted installation quote accounts for mounting, service-panel access, supply and return air, piping, insulation, wiring, drainage and agreed testing. Materials and site work are assessed; residential wall-installation lengths do not automatically apply.

Not always. A panel may reach the filter without leaving room to clean a coil or remove a blower. We explain any extra access work and cost before approval.
Mention which outlets differ. The problem may involve distribution or the duct arrangement as well as the FCU; a unit clean does not automatically include duct repairs or redesign.
Tell us if known. Local cleaning can be quoted separately, while connected-zone errors or shared refrigerant problems need a VRV/VRF assessment.
